Are you stuck at home and finding yourself with tons of time on your hands? Do you want to be able to help your community through this crisis? Are you less at risk to contracting the Coronavirus?

You could help the elderly and immunocompromised in your community by running their errands! This is vital information you need to know to do so in a safe manner and, hopefully, eliminate the risks of this illness to those you are helping!

Do’s and Don’ts

Do

Wash your hands, properly and frequently, with soap and hot water!

Use hand sanitizer that has a 60-95% alcohol base.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth, and face with unwashed hands.

Stay home if you are not feeling well and contact a health care provider.

Avoid direct hand-offs when possible.

Wear gloves and facemask while shopping for aid recipients

Try to one-stop shop when possible: Less store stops = less community exposure

Practice “social distancing” – Keep at 6ft. distance from people as often as possible when in public.

Do Not

Don’t assume you are not infectious if you are not experiencing symptoms

Don’t go out if you are not feeling well!

Don’t panic! It won’t help anyone!
